THE AGE OF HAWROKK: TIR-RI ELF OF THE SHADOW LEAF

I've always liked the concept of mystical being being one with the woods and forests so I've always loved Elf's ,I'm very pleased with this mug design at the time i was drawing it i wanted it to a.) look beautiful and b.)have a Japanese feel to it , for me it's one of the best things I've ever drawn, bold statement i know but sometimes magic happens.

THE AGE OF HAWROKK : HARRICON THE WISE WIZARD ELDER OF HAWROKK KEEP

The Age of Hawrokk was a fantasy project designed for plates and mugs drawn in pencil in 2006 a friend of mine Cliff had his own ceramics business and we tried to get these ideas out there to the public ,there where sadly big problems ahead lack of funds for marketing and no shop would sale them unless they where packaged in a box so it was doomed we produced proto-types which i showed at the first B.I.C's con in Birmingham.

any way here's my art for the Wizard mug Harricon the wise

GOTH ANGELS

Jericho and Jezebel where designed for plates for a local company in the U.K sadly the project never happened due to lack of funds for marketing and packaging some prototypes where produced but not sold ,I've always like the idea of Angels and i love the style of Frank Miller's Sin City so i decided i would draw some Goth like characters in that style be interested to see if they could be used for other media.

DIFFERENT SPIDER-MAN STYLES FROM 2001-2008

When i worked for Panini /Marvel U.K I was asked over the years to change styles drawing Spidey so here's a selection of Spidey covers drawn in different styles we have animated style clean line coloured by Alan Craddock ,we have Classic Spidey inked by David Roach and coloured by Junior Tomlin and Manga Spidey inked by Lee Townsend and coloured by John Charles ,i guess i enjoyed each style and it's nice to compare the images.

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2010

First off i would like to say thanks to all the regular viewers of my blog and to wish you all a very happy and successful new year.

what will this year bring me? who knows? but i do know issue 3 of WASTED will be out in Feb with more ''Tales of the Buddha'' before he got enlightened written by Alan Grant and drawn by me.

then there's my Judge Dredd art for 2000A.D to be published some time this year

i have three more months working on Hamlet for Classical Comics as the art director on the book drawing the layouts and character designs then that's it , so I'm starting to put out feelers for work projects now.

I would like to get more production work for either TV or movies and I'm also looking to draw other stuff than Shakespeare after three successful years with Classical i need a change and new challenge what that will be and who I'll be working for is up to who ever reads this blog and what offers i receive, I'll keep you posted...
